Yantis Man Pleads Guilty To Fatal Crash

A Yantis man appeared in Hopkins County District Court connected with a crash that claimed his eight-year-old daughter’s life and seriously injured his 11-year-old daughter. Brant Lee McGinnis pleaded guilty to Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault for the alcohol-related crash that occurred last December on FM 1567. Judge Eddie Northcutt will sentence McGinnis on January 20.
