   It is our goal that every guest be comfortable and  desire to return. 

Whisperwind Cabin is a  single level, furnished 2 bedroom/2 bathroom vacation rental

on about an acre in a wooded setting on a short road just off the main highway.  

A peaceful  place - beautiful and safe roads for morning walks or jogs. 

Near by:    Beavers Bend State Park, Cedar Creek Golf Course,  Hochatown and  Broken Bow Lake.

Guests can enjoy fishing and boating -- rent a boat at Beavers Bend Marina, 

one of the other vendors in the area, or bring  your own.  

The parking area of  Whisperwind Cabin will accommodate the trailer.   

There are Gift Shops and good restaurants  in Hochatown  (2 miles) 

Local favorites: Blue Rooster, Grateful Head Pizza,  Rolling Fork Takery,  Abendigo's,  Steven's Gap Restaurant.

There are more options in  Broken Bow  -12 miles away  --   - including the popular fast food places.  

There are a lot of things to do at Beavers Bend State Park   -  ride the train, go  for a horse back ride, 

 try some water sports: paddle boat, paddleboard, canoe, or kayak.  There is also a swimming beach at the park.

Several places offer Mini-golf.   Local vendors and outfitters have  4-wheel drive vehicles, water craft - canoe to patoon size,  even 

fishing equipment available to rent.   There is a Casino,  Wal-Mart, a Vet Clinic,

and Pruetts grocery store  (which has a very nice deli) in Broken Bow.  

Fish for cold water trout year round in Mountain Fork River below the Broken Bow Lake Dam. 

Fishing licenses can be purchased at Wal-Mart in Broken Bow,  at local outfitters, or on-line from Oklahoma Department of Fish and Game.

Enjoy great times around the campfire evenings at the picnic area behind the cabin.  Firewood is stacked under covered shed.

There are many choices in the area  -  so that everybody can find something  of  interest and satisfy their appetite

for something to do  or something to eat.

Whisperwind Cabin  has many repeat guests who look forward to another visit.  

They know  they need to bring only their food, clothes, and personal toiletries (make-up and shampoo).

Fast  wifi - password protected.  Self check-in - so late arrival is fine. 

 Whisperwind Cabin  has two bedrooms  -  the  Master Bedroom has a king size bed

and the only entrance to the bathroom in the rear of the cabin. 

The other bedroom of  Whisperwind Cabin has a queen size bed

and is steps from the  other full bathroom - both open into the front hallway.  

The queen size mattress of the living room sofa will fold out  to provide a third sleeping  area.

 Bedding is provided -  sheets,  blankets,  extra pillows.

 DVD player is attached to HDTV in  the living room and the rear bedroom.

 Satalite TV  service  provided with some movie channels.

The open floor plan of  Whisperwind Cabin  make  it the perfect vacation getaway

for a small family or two couples. 

Both bathrooms have plenty of towels, guest soap, tissue,  and a blow dryer.  

The kitchen has full size appliances like an  average home:  electric range, dishwasher,

refrigerator (ice maker in freezer compartment).

Small appliances sit on the counter:  coffee maker,  microwave,  can opener,  pop-up toaster,  and a blender.  

Coffee is stored in the refrigerator,  filters are above the coffee maker in the cabinet  with cups,

sugar, and creamer.   Kitchen cabinets and drawers are stocked with utensils,  dishes,  and

cookware --  all the modern appliances and conveniences to assure your cooking pleasure.  

Seating of dining table are 4 chairs and a bench.  2 bar stools at the kitchen counter.

Utility closet contains a washer and dryer.

Vacuum cleaner and Iron and ironing board are in the closet of  front bedroom. 

The hot tub is on the covered rear deck.  

Propane bottle is attached to the gas grill - spare bottle beside it.  

Do not leave unattended - turn off gas to the grill when finished. 

A charcoal grill is behind the deck - bring charcoal and fire starter if planning  to use that grill.

On the nook of the deck is a table with 4 chairs - a great place for breakfast,

if quiet, wildlife can sometimes be seen. 

Picnic table and benches are around the fire pit.  

Also on the grounds: 10x10 pen enclosing a dog house - with a chain on the gate,

horse shoe pit  with horse shoes,  and  "red neck" ladder  ball game.  

Inside Whisperwind Cabin are a few board games,  playing cards, some  DVD movies, and books 

for entertainment when weather prevents outdoor activities.  

The  deck wraps three sides of the cabin.  

The water of the hot tub is dumped after check out of each guest,

cleaned and refilled  using the water hose (cold water takes time to  warm)     

which  means guest arriving  may need to wait to enjoy the hot tub until later in the evening. 

The temperature setting can be changed - the pump will be heard 

as it cycles on and off to circulate the water through the filter and keep the water warm.

Keep covered when not in use.
