TItus County Shooting

Titus County Deputies responded to a shooting shortly before noon Tuesday at a home in the Sugar Hill Community on Hwy 71 and found that 47-year-old Kathy Voelker had been shot multiple times, allegedly by her ex-husband, 48-year-old Johnny Lee Voelker, Jr. He had fled the scene, but a further investigation resulted in him being found at a store in Bogata. He was taken into custody by Red River County Deputies and held for Titus County Deputies, who transported him to the Titus County Jail, where he was charged with Attempted Murder.
