    Two New Sulphur Springs Officials Sworn Into Office

    The City of Sulphur Springs swears in two new officials. Nate Smith, the new City Attorney, and Natalie Darrow, the new City Secretary, received the officer’s oath from outgoing City Secretary Gale Roberts. Roberts and outgoing City Attorney Jim McLeroy are retiring.

    The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office has a new K9 officer. Axe, a Belgian Malinois just over a year old, and will be certified for narcotic, suspect searches, apprehension, and tracking. Axe and his handler Deputy Drew Fisher are currently training in Mississippi.
