Fannin County Man Dies In Explosion

A former Leonard mayor is dead after an explosion Thursday. It occurred on private property off Cottonwood Street in Leonard. Authorities say the man was installing a diesel tank on a used pickup he had recently purchased. Investigators don’t know what caused the tank to explode.
