4th of July Events Around Paris

2019 Paris Fireworks Show at Paris Junior College Noyse Stadium Wednesday (Jul 3) at 7:30 pm. Before the fireworks, enjoy the Paris Municipal Band and Community Choir presenting Patriotic Music. Fireworks start at dark. Also live music and food trucks at the Love Civic Center parking lot!

Celebrate America Parade “Hometown Fourth” Thursday (Jul 4) at 10:00 am. The parade starts South on 1st NW along the West side of Plaza making a left onto Clarksville Street along the South side of Plaza. Parade will continue East on Clarksville St. and make a left onto 12th SE continue one block to Lamar Avenue and turn left on Lamar Avenue. The parade will continue West on Lamar Avenue back to Plaza and turn right on N. Main Street ending back at the courthouse.

 

Find your grassy area or a sidewalk and enjoy this downtown parade. Staging begins at 8:00 am in the parking lot North of Lamar County Courthouse. Parade begins at 10:00 am.

Roxton will have their 4th of July Parade Thursday at 10:00 am in Downtown. Games to follow after the parade in the pavilion.

First Responders Breakfast at the First Christian Church in Paris Saturday (Jul 6) from 8:30 am – 9:30 am. A monthly free breakfast for First Responders. North Texas Honda Helpers will be on hand to help serve and clean up. Come enjoy and let us serve those who serve us 24/7.

Roxton’s Fireworks Show will be Saturday evening, July 6. Festivities begin at 6:00 pm with an Ice Cream Social at CDC. Then the fireworks show at the Sports Complex beginning at “dark thirty.” That will be followed by a street dance downtown in front of the bank after the fireworks show until midnight.
