Campbell Woman Waives Jury Trial

A Campbell woman charged with Capital Murder in the death of a 2 year old boy has waived her right to a jury trial.  Gabriella Ortiz wants to have her guilt or innocence to be determined by a judge. She has pleaded not guilty. Her co-defendant in the case – Arturo Aguilar Vega has alredy pleaded guilty and been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
