Anqunett Vernetta Lewis, 34, of Houston, pleaded guilty to a bribery of a public official Wednesday in the Eastern District of Texas. Starting October 2015 inmates paid Lewis to smuggle watches with cellular capabilities to the Bureau of Prisons into the Federal Correctional Institution. Lewis faces up to five years at sentencing.
