Hopkins County Jail
The Hopkins County man, arrested Monday in connection with the seizure of hundreds of head of cows, bulls, and calves, has posted $20,000 bond and been released from jail. George Bergin, 61, is charged with cruelty to livestock animals. A hearing on the fate of the cattle has been scheduled for next week before Justice of the Peace Brad Cummings.
