Camp County Killer Sentenced

The 76th District Court sentenced Tyrek Neal, 25-year-old, of Daingerfield, to life in prison for the murder of Makayla Goodson, 21. Neal pleaded guilty to the murder, and a 12-person jury decided on the punishment. Makayla was shot numerous times by Neal in her home in the Thunderbird Point community of Camp County on Nov 5, 2021.
