  Collin County Man Jailed For Fatal Drive-by Shooting

  Saturday night, a drive-by shooting killed a 32-year-old Collin County man in Allen. Police arrested 26-year-old Ryan Thompson of Allen later and charged him with murder and evading arrest. Investigators say Thompson knew the unnamed victim, but they have not determined a motive behind the shooting.

  The Texas Department of State Health Services reported Sunday that there were now 447 active cases of COVID-19 in Hopkins County. The total number of fatal cases of the virus since testing began remains at 154.

  Hopkins County Man Arrested For Continuous Abuse

  John Robert Siervers, Jr. Hopkins County Deputies arrested 43-year-old John Robert Sievers, Jr., of Brashear, on a warrant for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. Bond is $100,000 on the First-Degree Felony charge.
