  A man charged with robbing a Fannin County convenience store has pleaded guilty to the charges. Jimmy Ray Newman was sentenced to 10 years in state prison, and said he wanted to  get this incident behind him.

  Paris Police responded to a family disturbance in the 1800 block of Maple Street after a woman’s ex boyfriend entered the residence and assaulted her. The suspect had previously been given a criminal trespass warning for the property. He fled before police arrived on the scene.
