Death Sentence For Sex Offender Who Killed Prison Officer

A convicted sex offender found guilty of killing a female corrections officer at a state prison Abilene has been sentenced to death. A jury condemned 24-year-old Dillion Compton for the murder of Mari Johnson, whose beaten body was found in a storage unit at the prison. Compton’s attorney claimed the pair was involved in a sexual relationship.
