Governor Abbott Extends State Disaster Declaration

Gov. Greg Abbott issued a proclamation Sunday extending the disaster declaration for all Texas counties an additional 30 days. The statement, issued initially March 13, applies to all Texas counties and gives the state access to funds and other critical resources needed to combat COVID-19. Abbott urged all Texans to continue practicing social distancing and abide by the guidelines laid out by the CDC and the executive orders.
