Hunt County Trial Set For Woman Accused In Son’s Death

Trial has been set for July  for the Hunt County woman accused of injury to a child by omission. 25 year old Courtney Renae Rodriguez has pleaded not guilty to failing to seek medical attention for her 4 year old son shortly before he died of a severe beating. She is the girlfriend of Ricky Lee Trenton Overly who was indicted on one count of murder and  one count of injury to a child by omission in the death of Carson Rodriguez.
