NE Texas Couple Charged In Connection With Child’s Death

A Northeast Texas couple indicted in March in the death of their four-year-old son has made their first appearance in Bowie County District Court. The attorney for 24-year-old Beneral Lewis of Wake Village pleaded not guilty to Capital Murder and other charges in connection with the death of D’Money Lewis. Khadijah Wright, D’Money’s mother, pleaded not guilty to injury of a child by omission.
