No Injuries In Hopkins County House Fire

Hopkins County and three volunteer fire departments responded to a house fire on CR1158 in the Divide Community Friday afternoon. The blaze started on a mattress in a bedroom and was quickly extinguished. The bedroom was pretty much totaled and the rest of the home had smoke and heat damage, but the family may be able to salvage many of their belongings. There were no injuries. The blaze is believed to be accidental.
