Northeast Texas Regional Advisory Council and Paris Regional Medical Center to Host Community Health Fair

community

On April 12th, from 6-8pm, the Northeast Texas Regional Advisory Council will host a community health fair at Love Civic Center in Paris, TX. The health fair will showcase a wide range of health, wellness and safety related organizations from around the Northeast Texas Region. Admission is free, and visitors should expect health information, wellness testing, EMS, PD, home health, long term care, rehabilitation, insurance coverage, wellness information, children’s safety information, games, door prizes and interactive fun for the whole family!

The purpose of the Northeast Texas Regional Advisory Council is to provide a comprehensive continuum of quality health care for all victims of trauma without regard to age, race, sex, color, national origin, disability, religion, or ability to pay. The NETRAC provides injury prevention activities and education to professionals and the public within the Northeast Texas Region. The NETRAC is comprised of different regional organizations promoting health and wellness, as well as education in injury prevention and trauma.

The Northeast Texas Community Health Fair was the brainchild of Shequlyn “Shae” Watson, former Executive Director of the NETRAC. Unfortunately, Shae passed away earlier this year due to sudden illness. It is the NETRAC’s hope to continue Shae’s passion and drive to educate our communities on injury prevention, health and wellness.
