The Paris Economic Development Corporation will meet at 10:00 this morning in the council chambers. It will be the first meeting of the PEDC since the city council called a November special election to have the voters decide if the group should be funded with tax money. The board will also discuss a request from BodyGuard Bumpers for an additional tax abatement. The company has exceeded its original goal of hiring 15–20 employees.
