Paris Man Indicted In Shooting Incident

One of those indicted by the latest Lamar County grand jury panel was 28-year-old Marcus Tyrone Hooker, Jr., of Paris. In January, they charged him with a shooting incident at the Spanish Oaks Apartments. Police say Hooker was involved in a shootout due to a bad drug deal where three vehicles and a window were damaged. There were no injuries. The other suspect allegedly involved was Jose Alejandro Aguilar. He has not been arrested and remains at large.
