Paris Police Report For Monday (Feb 11)

Friday, Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 500-block of S. Main St for displaying an expired registration sticker. The driver, Shannon Diosa Thompson, 21, also had an outstanding felony warrant charging her with credit card abuse and two traffic warrants. She was arrested and placed in the City Jail.

Walter Mathew Caffey

Paris Police observed a driver not wearing his safety belt and stopped him in the 300-block of N. Main. The officer smelled marijuana and arrested Walter Mathew Caffey, 35, of Hugo. Also, a passenger had medication without a prescription.

A 1997 maroon GMC pick-up was reported stolen Saturday morning from the 1800-block of Cedar. The owner advised that he had left the vehicle unlocked and running and was away for approximately ten minutes. It has an Oklahoma license plate.

Ricky Joel Seat

Sunday, officers arrested Ricky Joel Seat, 35, of Paris, on a parole violation warrant.

Paris Police responded to 210 calls for service and arrested 14 people over the past weekend ending at midnight Sunday (Feb 10).
