Paris Police Report Oct. 11

On October 10, Officers made contact with a Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputy at the Paris Travel Center at 3070 NE Loop. The deputy had detained Noe Gutierrez for trying to pass a counterfeit $20.00 bill. Gutierrez was arrested for Forgery of a Financial Instrument and taken into custody without incident.

Paris Police was summoned to the Adult Probation Office where they arrested Danel Maddox on a Motion to Adjudicate Guilt warrant from a previous charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was arrested without incident.

 While officers were serving a warrant in the 1500-block of Lamar Avenue they located a number of narcotics in plain view in the residence. They arrested Tiffany McCann for the misdemeanor warrants as well as being charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Officers were returning found property to Melissa Mount in the 700-block of Jackson St. when they were informed that she had an outstanding warrant for Burglary of Habitation out of Red River County. She was arrested for the warrant without incident.

Officers arrested Bradley Dewayne Sims after he assaulted an elderly individual in the 100-block of NE 17th after a traffic issue. He was charged with Assault Against Elderly or Disabled Individual.

Paris Police responded to 87 Calls for service and arrested eight people Wednesday (Oct 10).
