Santa Makes Appearances At North Lamar

The third-grade students at Everett Elementary invited Santa Claus to be part of their Christmas program.

Last week to tell Santa wishes

With the last week of school before the Christmas break, there have been several sightings of Santa Claus around the elementary campuses at North Lamar ISD.  Both Aaron Parker and Higgins celebrated the Polar Express with activities that included wearing pajamas to school, riding the Polar Express Train, drinking hot chocolate, playing reindeer games, listening to Christmas music and visiting with Santa, played by NL board president Stephen ‘Red’ Holmes.

The students at Higgins Elementary rode the Polar Express Train to Drake’s Barn for organized activities.

At the Everett campus, the third graders presented a Christmas program, “Where in the World is the Spirit of Christmas?”, for parents and guests.  Santa, played by NL Superintendent Jason Adams, was on stage with key speakers for all to see.

The Head Start class at Aaron Parker Elementary gathered around Santa’s sleigh for a group picture.
