Severe Weather Possible Friday

Friday morning and into the early afternoon hours should feature generally low chances for rain and perhaps an isolated storm or two. Severe weather is not expected during the morning to early afternoon hours. Towards the mid-afternoon hours on Friday and into Friday evening, more numerous showers and thunderstorms are anticipated. A few of these storms could be strong to severe with the most likely area to experience severe weather being across East Texas. The primary hazards will be damaging winds, large hail and a tornado or two.
