A former Baylor University student, along with her attorneys, will publicly announce the filing of a lawsuit against the university because they say Baylor authorities were deliberately indifferent to complaints by student victims of sexual assault by Baylor football player Tevin Elliott, a Mt. Pleasant High School graduate. Elliott was sentenced to 20 years in prison and fined $10,000 for each of his two sexual assault convictions.
