Wood County Murder Suspect Captured In Lubbock

A Wood County man has been arrested in Lubbock on murder charges. George Saunders, 62, was previously charged with manslaughter in the death of his 16-year-old son Loren at their home in Alba in 2011. He was then re-indicted for murder and arrested in 2015.  He then bonded out of jail. He is awaiting extradition back to Wood County.
