Jacob Wyatt Burgess
A 38-year-old Yantis man in the Hopkins County Jail for criminal trespass, indecency with a child, and assault have officials adding new charges. Jacob Wyatt Burgess allegedly assaulted three correctional officers at the jail who had attempted to remove him to clean it. Burgess was subdued and placed in a cell for violent offenders. They have now added three counts of assault on a public servant.
