Outdoor Burning Leads To NE Texas House Fire

Fire destroyed a home in Redwater Tuesday evening. Fire officials say the elderly homeowner was burning leaves in the yard when the fire got out of control and torched the house. The homeowner was not injured but was checked for smoke inhalation by paramedics on the scene. Firefighters battled the blaze for about two hours, The Red Cross is assisting family members who lived in the home.
