Jerry’s Bar & Grill will host a Crawfish & Shrimp Boil Friday (Jul 14) from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. It is first-come-first-serve for $15.99 a plate. It includes crawfish, shrimp, fried catfish fillet, corn, potatoes, and corn bread. For a dollar a ticket there are door prizes and a dollar off all drinks! There are no to-go orders. There is live music. There is karaoke! It’s downtown Pittsburg, 120 Jefferson St. Be sure to check it out.

Rustville Essentials has been invited to showcase our products, along with 39 other small businesses from around the world, at a Giftig Suite, Red Carpet event, honoring the Americans Music Awards, in Hollywood this November!

Quake on Town Lake and BBQ on the Bank! Join community businesses and individuals on Saturday (Jul 15) at Town Lake and compete for the BEST brisket in Northeast Texas! Prize money awarded for 1st-3rd place briskets and a traveling trophy goes to the “People’s Choice” Champion. Registration fee is $75 plus a required 10 pounds of brisket and the choice of providing an additional 10 pounds of cook’s choice including chicken, pork, or ribs. The Pittsburg Brew Pub is now open every Friday and Saturday 3:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Support this new business.

Nora’s Salon, 236 Rusk Street, has new hours. They are Wednesdays from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm, Thursdays 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, Fridays 9:00 am until 2:30 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. You may call for more information at 903-946-2035.
