The Paris City Council has called for a city charter amendment election for November 8. There are 24, mostly cosmetic proposed amendments recommended by a 16-member Charter Review Commission. Wardens Seize Shocking Devices At Hugo Lake

  Atoka and Choctaw County game wardens seized multiple electro-fishing devices and catfish taken with the devices at Hugo Lake. Investigators staked out the boat the  shocking equipment was in and arrested one man when he returned. Charges are pending with the Choctaw County district attorney’s office.

The North East Texas Choral Society members are excited to present its 26th spring concert, “I Saw the Light.” They present the concert on Saturday, May 4, at 7:00 pm and Sunday, May 5, at 2:00 pm in the SSHS Auditorium.
