Things to Do Around Paris This Weekend

Everett Toyota of Paris is hosting a costume contest for children tomorrow.  The dealership will also hold a bake sale to benefit the Paris Animal Shelter and the Humane Society will bring dogs available for adoption.

Stop by Choctaw Casino Resort – Grant and enjoy the fall festival filled with fun rides and carnival treats! Admission is free and an unlimited ride voucher is only $20. Don’t miss this fun and exciting carnival as it will only be here from Wednesday, October 26 to Sunday, October 30. If you get dizzy from all the rides guests can come inside and try their hand at more than 1,000 slots or a game of poker.

Maxey After Dark Sat. October 29th Sun October 30th at the Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site 812 South Church Street. It is said things look different in the dark, and that is true of the Sam Bell Maxey House, especially around Halloween. The Maxey House will be open late on October 29th from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. for “Maxey After Dark.” Visitors are invited to step inside after night has fallen to learn about some of the more macabre aspects of Victorian culture. The 2nd Annual Hugo Pumpkin Festival fills October in Hugo with fun family activities. Located at Hwy. 93 and East Kirk Road, the festival runs weekends through October 31st with a Haunted Trail October 27 through 31st. Proceeds benefit the Endangered Ark Foundation.
