Friday, July 1, Detroit is hosting Independence Day with

Saturday, July 2
At 7:00 am, there is a Pancake Breakfast at the Detroit Fire Dept, and the parade follows at 10:00 am. Participants need to line up at the elementary by 9:30, judging at 9:45 am. For more information, call Connie Crews at 903-517-9426.
For the BBQ Cookoff, you can purchase a plate for $10 starting at 4:00 pm, and we announce the winners at 6:30 pm.
The Firework Show starts in the dark in the City Park.
