Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing On Highway

A small twin-engine aircraft made an emergency landing on U.S. Highway 80 in Kaufman County on Monday afternoon. The FAA said the pilot landed the Piper Aztec at about 2:45 pm northeast of Mesquite Metro Airport. Forney Police said the pilot was not injured, and there were no reported injuries to anyone on the ground.
