Former Correctional Officer Wants TDCJ To Pay Up

A former correctional officer at the Telford Prison Unit in New Boston filed a federal lawsuit in Texarkana after she was repeatedly sexually assaulted by her supervisor. The suit was settled, and she was awarded $250,000 in damages from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She still hasn’t been paid and has filed a motion with a federal judge to force the TDCJ to pay.
