A state representative from Collin County is proposing legislation to crack down on human trafficking. The bill proposed by Matt Shaheen would increase criminal penalties for individuals caught engaging a prostitute who is a victim of sex trafficking. Forty-six people were arrested recently for human trafficking in Frisco and Southlake.
