Nebraska agriculture officials say they must kill another 1.8 million chickens after they found bird flu on a farm. The latest sign is that the outbreak that has already prompted the slaughter of more than 50 million birds nationwide continues to spread. The Nebraska Department of Agriculture said Saturday that they found the state’s 13th case of bird flu on an egg-laying farm in northeast Nebraska’s Dixon County, about 120 miles north of Omaha, Nebraska.
