Boil Water Notice Issued For Small Part Of Paris

A boil water notice has been issued by the Paris Public Works Department after a wastewater spill occurred at the flow equalization basin, north of Loop 286 on CR 42200. Residents within half a mile of the site should bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute before drinking, bathing or brushing teeth. When the problem is corrected, the public will be notified immediately. The spill could affect Stillhouse Creek, Pine Creek and Segment 202 of the Red River.
