    The U.S. Supreme Court refused Wednesday afternoon to stop the execution of a South Texas man  condemned for murdering a 12-year-old boy and drinking his blood. 38-year-old Pablo Lucio Vasquez was put to death by lethal injection at 6:35 Wednesday night in Huntsville.

  Fire broke out in a trash can the garage of a home in the 1000 block of 20th St. in Paris Wednesday evening and quickly spread to the roof. Firefighters contained the fire before it spread to the rest of the house and there were no injuries reported.
