Clardy Files Bill Requiring Public School Teachers To Have Seizure Training

East Texas State Representative, Travis Clardy, filed a bill in the state legislature that would require public school teachers to have seizure training. The bill, known as “Sam’s Law” would require seizure education and first aid training for employees in Texas public schools who have contact with children. It’s named after Samantha Watkins, a Kilgore ISD student who died of a seizure in 2016.
