Collin County Company Sued Over Robocalls

The Attorney General of North Carolina is suing a Collin County-based company. Josh Stein says a company in McKinney called Articul8 helped facilitate scam calls across the country. But he says instead of targeting individual scammers, he’s going after the company that’s been routing their calls for profit. The lawsuit claims the company should have known it was helping criminals try to defraud people and that Articul8 helped suspected scammers make more than 500-million robocalls.
