A mental competency has been ordered for a man indicted by a Hunt County grand jury for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon against a Public Servant. James William Halcomb, 35, of Lone Oak, is accused of pointing a gun at a Hunt County Deputy. Halcomb surrendered after the incident and is being held in lieu of $30,000 in the Hunt County Jail. There were no injuries.
