Construction Work In Lamar County

Atmos Energy crews and contractors will oversee a controlled release of natural gas on Tuesday (Jul 26). The controlled release will occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm at two locations. On is at the intersection of FM 2038 and FM 137. The other location is inside Paris city limits near the intersection of 41st St. and Old Bonham Road. The controlled release of natural gas from the pipeline allows employees to work on the pipe safely. People in the area may smell the odor of natural gas. Atmos Energy employees will be on site to monitor the work. Five Atmos Energy customers will have their natural gas service turned off Tuesday (Jul 26) while crews perform the work.
