Drowning In Broken Bow

A father is dead, and they hospitalized his son after drowning at Broken Bow Lake on Fathers Day afternoon. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Carlo Lomas, Sr., and 18-year-old Carlo Lomas, Jr., were swimming in the lake when the son started struggling. The dad attempted to rescue his son when the two of them went underwater. They were pulled to shore and transported to McCurtain Memorial, where the dad died. Neither were wearing life jackets.
