East Texas Teen Faces Multiple Burglary Charges

An East Texas teenager has been arrested in connection with the burglaries of unlocked vehicles in Hallsville and the surrounding area. Longview is accusing Dewayne Lamont Black, Jr., 19, of Longview of theft of a firearm, property between $2,500 and $30,000, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of marijuana. His bonds at this time total $51,000. He’s also charged on a Harrison County warrant for engaging in an organized criminal activity.
