East Texas Woman Arrested For Leaving Dog In Hot Car

An East Texas woman was arrested over the holiday weekend  for leaving her dog inside her hot car. Witnesses called police and said the dog appeared to be in distress and a police officer broke the car’s windows and rescued the dog.  The dog’s owner was eventually located and identified as 40-year-old,of Big Sandy. She was booked into the Gregg County jail on animal cruelty charges.
