Morris County Collaborative is a group of individuals and organizations who have come together to improve the mental health and well-being of communities in the Morris County area.
On Saturday (Jan 12), the Morris County Collaborative invites all community members to a Community Town Hall to learn about our work and discuss a path forward that includes the voices of all community members. This is an opportunity to hear about issues that affect our community’s resilience and well-being, and a chance to make your voice heard and offered ideas.
Back in September, the Morris County Collaborative, together with its partners Alliance for Greater Works and the Hogg Foundation, collected baseline data that sheds light on our community’s needs related to mental health and well-being, as well as opportunities to address those needs. We plan to share this information with the public at the January 12 Town Hall, as well as plans for a broader, community-wide Needs Assessment as a way to include more voices in this stage of the process. A member of our Learning Team, Susan Wolfe of Susan Wolfe & Associates, will be presenting the data. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and offer ideas.
Our work is just getting started, and we need you. Strengthening our community’s resilience and ensuring that all residents can achieve well-being will take everyone in our society, especially individuals who feel they have not been included in this sort of community discussion in the past. We’re hopeful that people who are new to this type of collaborative work will join us, too. Our doors are open. We have a lot to look forward to together, and we need everyone’s perspective!
A BBQ Lunch by Rear of the Steer will be provided to all who attend the meeting. Lunch is on a first come, first serve basis. Please email info@morriscc.org if you need transportation.
