Skills Camp

The Hopkins County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service provides the 2021 Skills Camp for students entered grades six and seven in the fall semester. The camp dates are Monday thru Wednesday, July 12-14, 9:00 am to noon. All sessions will take place at the Extension Office, 1200 W. Houston, Sulphur Springs. Sessions include:

1. Fun with Food: participants will have hands-on experience in preparing an entire meal. Hopkins County Master Wellness Volunteers will assist with this session.
2. Public Speaking/Impromptu Speaking will include group activities and creative thinking.
3. Horticulture will be a hands-on session led by the Hopkins County Master Gardeners.

The camp will be limited to the first 15 students, so please contact the Hopkins County Extension Office at 903-885-3443 to sign up. There is no charge for the camp.
