Livingston the Lion, a stuffed animal from the late 1800s, is hosting a sleepover for your stuffed animal, doll, or action figure on Friday, July 24, at the Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site. Sign-in will be at the Maxey House from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm for the sleepover. After introductions, Livingston is inviting all his new friends to stay for a story and snack at 6:30 pm. At the end of the story, goodbyes will be said between the children and their toys as the toys get ready to stay overnight, where the toys will have a sleepover at the Maxey House with Livingston!

You may pick the toys up anytime between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 25. We’ll give you back your toy with pictures of all the fun that they had at the sleepover. Activities and yard games will be set up to participate on Saturday. It includes some activities the toys did, so you can join in the fun. Pre-registration for this event is required as space is limited. To register for the event, please call the Maxey House at 903.785.5716 by Thursday, July 23. There is no cost to register and participate in the event.
