Execution Stayed For Man Who Killed Mother

An East Texas death row inmate who killed his mother, buried her in their backyard and drained her bank account has won a stay of execution from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals.  54 year old Tracy Lane Beatty of Smith County was set to be put to deathby lethal injection Thursday night.
