Fannin County Approves Contract

Fannin County Judge Spanky Carter says the County Commissioners Court approved a contract with North Texas Municipal Water District. The water district agreed to a million-dollar commitment. The project could cost as much as $1.4 billion. Fannin County could also decide role when the reservoir is officially named. It will be the first lake of its size built in Texas in the past 30 years.
